About Me
The Welsh Terrier in the picture to the right is Nova, a champion in the show ring, who has been with me since she was 4. She's my best furry buddy and a smart, mischievous doggy. Nova hunts for critters and once found a box turtle in her backyard. The turtle was relocated to a nearby stream and that turtle crawled off smiling. Nova hunts for the squirrels too that she can't quite catch, however the other day, she came really close.
Some of my best pet buddies or the "BPB" list include a rooster named George who begged food from neighbors backdoors. My menagerie has included dogs, horses, cats, cows, an Angus bull, parakeets and a pig. Tropical fish and my friend, Amy's bearded dragons also made the "BPB" list.
In Omaha, Nebraska, before migrating to Georgia, my son kept a 7ft. Burmese python, an iguana, two ferrets, two hamsters, a cat and a Cayman alligator in his room. We were referred to as "Henry Doorly West" (as in the world famous Henry Doorly Zoo on Omaha's east side, known for its pioneering work with breeding of endangered species). I learned not to pet an alligator because they are lightning quick and those teeth - yikes!!!
I have also cared for a pet squirrel named Mo who was not to be caged and loved to jump on your shoulder. What a surprise when you least expect it. He had a habit of chewing through his plastic crate.
My husband, Ted, acts as my pet sitting assistant in the evenings and on weekends when pet sitting duty calls. We are privleged to share our lives with two dogs, Holy Nova (mentioned and pictured above) and Brownie, the brown hound of sound (OAP Audio) and one spotted saddle horse, Sadieblu, no notoriety except for her love of carrots and sweet disposition!
I have been in business since March of 2004 and would love to care for your pets when you need a reliable, experienced, bonded and insured, professional pet sitter.
Thanks for visiting my website and hope to hear from you soon. Happy Trails, Lindy
